Programs & Services
R.I.T.E. of Way delivers prevention-focused support through six core service areas:
R.I.T.E. of Way Decision-Making Curriculum
A weekly, prevention-focused course designed to strengthen youth decision-making during moments of pressure and emotional escalation. The curriculum supports accountability, reflection, and long-term thinking, and is delivered in partnership with schools and youth-serving organizations, with a certificate awarded upon completion.
Youth Support Line
A confidential support line offering real-time guidance to youth who need someone to talk to before making a decision that could permanently alter their lives. This service functions as immediate violence and crisis prevention.
Mentorship & Lived-Experience Guidance
Youth are paired with credible mentors who have firsthand experience navigating high-risk environments and successfully transitioning into stability. Mentorship emphasizes accountability, goal-setting, and redefining success beyond street narratives.
Counseling & Therapeutic Support
Licensed social workers and therapists provide one-on-one and group counseling addressing trauma, anger, grief, emotional regulation, and identity development.
Community-Based Outreach & Violence Prevention
Outreach workers deliver workshops, education, and early intervention in schools, community organizations, and priority neighbourhoods, serving as a bridge into R.I.T.E. of Way’s services.
Youth Awareness & Decision-Making Workshop
An in-person, interactive workshop for youth ages 12–24 focused on self-awareness, emotional regulation, decision-making, and life skills. Click to learn more about the workshop content, structure, and goals. Workshop Outline
